Starcraft II: The REAL Patch 1.2 Trailer Teaser

So I published a “Patch 1.2 trailer” back in October.  Everybody loved it.  The problem?  That meant I had to deliver a second time.  Well, the previous patch ended up being Patch 1.1.2.  Here’s the real Patch 1.2 trailer teaser. What do we have here?  A parody of Clerks: The Animted series?  Spoiler: Activision-Blizzard is going to sue me for ten million dollars.

Parody is hard work.  Damn.

  3. @Derp: Thinking about the source material, I’m not sure how much sense it’s supposed to make. It actually makes a hell of a lot more sense than the parody material. o.o

  6. @Acritter: Don’t worry, the crazy in this video can’t be topped. I have to go in a completely different direction if I want to continue doing Patch Trailer videos. The video polices the direction of the material. ^^

    @SageDarius: Took forever to do the damn thing. I realized halfway through the video that I was going to have to make my own graphics. And in addition, I had to learn some new video editing technique to do just about every scene. Was tough stuff.

  7. The animated series is pretty enjoyable, but its really lacking the charm Clerks has, cant put my finger on it.

  8. Kevin Smith apparently got another writer to help him out with the transition. I wouldn’t say it’s a great show, but it does dumb humor in a very interesting way. It’s pretty “yes, we know we’re being stupid” about it.
